Le temps de le dire, la d\u00e9pression secondaire s\u2019est activ\u00e9e \u00e0 une vitesse vertigineuse et balaie d\u00e9sormais la flotte avec 976 hectopascals en son centre. Lorsque le nouveau bulletin tombe \u00e0 minuit et livre un <strong>avis de temp\u00eate imminente<\/strong>, les conditions sont d\u00e9j\u00e0 dantesques, avec notamment une mer tr\u00e8s abrupte et d\u00e9ferlante. La station m\u00e9t\u00e9o de Shannon enregistre des vents de plus de 67 n\u0153uds et des navires de commerce sur zone rapportent des vagues de plus de 14 m\u00e8tres.<\/p><p>Dans ce fracas nocturne, deux bateaux cherchent \u00e0 tailler leur route. A bord d\u2019Alvena, un Contention 33, le jeune<strong> Jacques Cara\u00ebs<\/strong> essuie son bapt\u00eame du feu.
